I’m a fairy princess

Normally I am not one to dress up for halloween, in fact, I usually roll my eyes, and tell people that my creativity does not extend into costume design, and call it a day.

But this year, I did make an effort and was manifest as a fairy princess. Last night my friend Caroline (AKA Sissy) and I went on a search for materials to make fairy princess wings. That was an adventure in and of itself. We went to various places, gathering items for the wings construction. We also purchased stuff for our magic fairy dust that we were to sprinkle on whom ever or what ever need it.

Once we got what we needed, we went to our respective places and got to work. For me, it didn’t take long, because I had a vision, and was on a mission. I then had to stop for a second, because I could not believe that I was having such a great time making a halloween costume.

I was the dark fairy princess, and Sissy was the light fairy princess, and my new friend Leighanne was the disco fairy princess (she had small wings, because all she does is go to discos, shirking her fairy responsibilities).

We went to a party at Dish, and proceeded to spread our wings and throw fairy dust unabashedly. It was soooooooooo much fun. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Everyone who needed magic, got some.

When the fairy dust was gone, so were we, into the ethers.
