Sissy- We have been talking some about the topic of Prayer. I find for myself that I pray for people that I don’t get along with because I feel so horrible when my little heart, that I feel swells naturally, shivels and rots in their presence. It’s is interesting to look at what that person reminds you of. I know that it is most likely not the person but that something in them is reminding me of a past issue that I have clearly not cleared. I am amazed at how quick my attitude can change. One person in particulatr would simply come near the vacinity of my space and I could literally feel my chest contract. Wow, that was when I decided that really I needed to start to heal this issue.
I worked with and still am working through this issue with prayer. One thing that I think is encouraging is that prayer can lead to discovery and habits form after time.

A friend once told me that given the choce to rally for animal rights or against the death penalty, she chose the prisoner over the the fuzzy bunny. I mean the bunny gets love already right?

One of my all-time favorite perspectives on prayer was something Mother Theresa said. Someone was interviewing her on what her relationship with god was like...

"So, when you're praying, what do you say?"

Mother Teresa replied, "I don't say anything to God. I listen."

"And what does God say to you?"

Mother Teresa answered: "He doesn't say anything to me. He listens."
