Teaching on Sunday
I don’t normally teach yoga on Sundays. It is my day to take class and have no obligations, but there are always exceptions. I am subbing for Sarla because she took a group of people on a short yoga retreat. (hope they are having fun) I love teaching this class, even though it is usually my class to simply close my eyes, and enjoy the flow. I also always feel a little nervous teaching it, because Sarla and I are so different. She talks way more than I do in the beginning, where I really like to get people quiet, and in tune with their body and breath before moving. I am really more flow oriented than she is, though, since Shiva has been here, she has a renewed love for the flow. Anyway, I cant worry about that, I just have to teach from my heart. teach what I know, and stop comparing myself. (That is a sure way to get out of the flow)
I also have to teach a private this evening. I love these people, and they went on vacation, and will have been on a plane for a VERY long time. So they will need some yoga and rejuvination.
It’s good for me to break out of my routine sometimes.
I’m going to go and practice now.
